Chonburi Governor Senee Jittakasem (seated 5th
right) presided over the opening of ‘The Ninth Meeting of Joint Committee on
Coordination of Commercial Navigation on Lancang-Mekong River (JCCCN) among
the members from China, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand’, recently organized by
the Marine Department of Thailand in the Cattleya Ballroom at the Montien
Hotel Pattaya.

Recently, Centara Hotel and Resorts, led by David R.
Good, vice president of operations, and Winfried Hancke, group operations
manager, gathered all executive chefs and food and beverage managers from
all Centara Hotel and Resorts to attend a food and beverage management
seminar and workshop at Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Hotel,
Pattaya.
To mark the beginning of the Buddhist rainy season
retreat or Asarnha Bucha Day, Dusit Thani Pattaya, led by General
Manager Chatchawal Supachayanont, visited the Jittapawan College (for the
promulgation of Buddhism) on Sukhumvit Road to bring donations of cash,
appliances and basic necessities to the temple and the community. The
occasion was marked with a merit-making ceremony and offering of lunch to
the monks and the young novices. Joining the hotel staff and management were
some VIP guests, friends and business associates.
Malcolm and Christina Boden, founders of the Charity Club
of Pattaya, recently celebrated 31 years of wedded bliss with a wonderful
meal and Champagne at Alois Restaurant.
