A North Pattaya car rental company burglarized four times
this summer is asking for Pattaya police to take over security.
Zik & Zak Car Rental employee Natchaya Srithanyathonpha,
25, said the Soi Potisan 1 company has lost more than 150,000 baht in
computers and other office equipment in four break-ins since June. The most
recent burglary occurred Sept. 4 and two computers, printers and cash were
taken.
Despite the break-ins, the company has not hired its own
security guards. Instead, executives requested the Pattaya Police Station
provide regular patrols and proof of officers coming by to make sure
burglars are kept away.
