More than 1,000 p eople were given information on
modern and traditional medicine at a health tourism fair held at Central
Festival Pattaya Beach.
Rattanachai Sutidechanai, chairman of the Pattaya
City Council’s Tourism & Sports Committee, opened the Aug. 26 event
attended by representatives from Bangkok Hospital Pattaya, Chonburi
Hospital. Phanasnikhom Hospital, Herbs Association, Phorn-Udom Sattahip
and the Union of Thai Traditional Medicine.
A collaboration between the city and the Chonburi
Department of Public Health, the fair featured booths offering hot-press
massage, Thai herbs, vitamins and minerals testing, acupuncture, liquid
herbs and other remedies.
The Pattaya School No. 5 band provided entertainment
and Pattaya City Hall offered a demonstration on food hygiene.
