Soros Poonneam is caught
by bar patrons before he could escape.

A Belgian man and other bar patrons captured a
transvestite who allegedly pick-pocketed him of 5,200 baht.
Police were called to the Mirial beer bar on Second
Road Jan. 22 where Yves Wynant, 42, and other patrons had detained Soros
Poonneam, 26. The Songkla transsexual, outfitted in long black wig and
mini skirt, was accused of accosting the Belgian as he was trying to
leave the bar, then snatching cash from his pocket during the unwanted
hug.
Witnesses said the ladyboy raced on high heels out of
the boozer, but was run down by passers-by. Police recovered Wynant’s
5,200 baht in a sunscreen box in Soros’ purse.
