Dusit Thani College organized an anti-drug training session in
hopes of teaching students to protect themselves and to stay away from
narcotics.
Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome opened the April 1 workshop with college
Director Sakda Kanchanawarawan and more than 100 students.
Police narcotics officer Punya Niemmee lectured on the penalties for
drug offenses as well as the different types of illegal substances, from
sedatives to stimulants and hallucinogens.
The hope is that students will stay off drugs and go on to become
valuable members of society.
