Cable jumble worries Sukhumvit Soi 36 residents

A cluster of high-voltage lines hanging only 1.5 meters off the ground
are worrying residents of Sukhumvit Soi 36.
The cable threat is doubled by a nearby electric transformer, itself
wrapped in messy lines. Residents fear a repeat of fires and
electrocutions that have occurred in similar circumstances elsewhere.
Pattaya has been moving through the city, cleaning up disorderly cable
television, telephone and electrical wires. But clearly workers haven’t
gotten to this neighborhood.
