Following repeated Pattaya Mail reports about potholes and broken
sidewalks, Pattaya City Hall is now moving more quickly to patch things up.
Putthiseth Charoenpong and a crew of other Public Works Department workers
began Jan. 7 in North Pattaya, filling in holes and repairing footpaths
along Sukhumvit Road down to Thepprasit Road.
Acknowledging the newspaper’s stories, department staffers apologized to the
public for any inconvenience caused by the broken pavement and promised to
finish repairs within a month.
