Soi AR doing limbo with power pole

A “leaning tower of power” is giving Soi AR residents a jolt of
fear.
The utility pole is listing at an ever-increasing angle. Large vehicles and
trucks have to avoid the street or pass on the right side to get around it,
which often causes massive traffic jams.
Residents worry the 10-meter-tall pole will topple, damaging whatever or
whoever lies beneath, as well as cause a blackout for blocks around.
City bureaucrats promising to fix such problems seem to have missed this
obvious danger.
Chakapan Thepitak, 68, said the post has been leaning for years.
Electricians recently came out to check it, but have done nothing to fix it.
Nearby residents are fed up, he said.
