Police finally caught up
with Belgian fugitive Tcheou Joel Tcharada (seated), wanted for
allegedly murdering his wife.

Chonburi Immigration Police have arrested a Belgian fugitive
wanted for allegedly murdering his wife and dumping her body in a lake
before fleeing to Pattaya.
Tcheou Joel Tcharada, 57, was captured Feb. 27 staying with a woman in
the northern Thai city of Mukdahan where he’d gone after Pattaya. Police
said he was preparing to flee into Laos over the border crossing there.
Tcharada was wanted by Interpol on a warrant issued by the Verviers
Courthouse for the alleged killing of Paschale Daelen in January. He
arrived in Thailand on Jan. 14.
The suspect was processed for deportation as per the request from the
Belgian embassy.
