Pattaya students received free bicycles and mobile phones as
part of a city campaign to provide necessary materials to school-age
youths.
Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome presented 11 bicycles and 28 Samsung mobile
phones to the area’s most deserving and/or most needy students. The
project, run through the Pattaya Permanent Secretary’s Office and the
city’s Education Department, was aimed at helping kids commute to school
and keep in touch with parents.
The mayor also gave toasters to each of the city’s 11 public schools for
food preparation.
