Disabled Briton dies in
apparent bathroom fall

A disabled Briton died after apparently falling in his Jomtien Beach
bathroom.
The body of Alan John, 66, was found by staff at the View Talay 6
condominium complex Feb. 20. Lying next to his wheelchair, John had been
dead approximately four days.
The body was discovered by cleaning crews that detected a strong smell
coming from John’s condo. There was no evidence of robbery, fight or other
disturbance.
The body was sent to the Forensic Institute to determine exact cause of
death and the British Embassy was informed.
