Intellectual property police arrested 26 mobile-phone vendors and seized 351
pirated handsets in a raid of the Tukcom electronics mall in South Pattaya.
Provincial Police Region 2 and Pattaya officers staged the May 5 raid.
The phones and gadgets seized were valued at 1.2 million baht. Those arrested
were charged with violating the 1994 Thailand Copyright Act.
