take place June 21 on Pattaya Beach.

More than 1,000 people are expected to help raise funds for charity at
the YWCA Bangkok-Pattaya Center’s Walk-Run 2014 June 21 on Pattaya
Beach.
YWCA Chairwoman Praichit Jetpai and Pattaya Deputy Mayor Ronakit
Ekasingh announced the event to benefit Banglamung Hospital and a
Proctor & Gamble Thailand library for kindergarteners project.
The six-hour run starts at 3 p.m. in front Central Festival Pattaya
Beach and completes in front of the Amari Orchid Resort & Tower. As many
as 1,300 people are estimated to participate.
Runners and walkers will be separated into four categories: boys and
girls under 15 and men and women over age 15. The 350 baht entrance fee
includes beverages, food and a t-shirt.
Applicants can apply at the beach footpath in front of Central Festival
that day after 3 p.m. Winners will receive trophies.
