Nongprue Sub-district is trimming trees to prevent fires, as well as accidents
from amateur branch pruners.
Public Works Division employees took the shears to trees in the Pattabakarn Road
near Khao Thongthong Temple July 21, cutting branches intertwining with power
lines to prevent electrical fires.
But officials also have seen too many home and business owners get electrocuted
after snipping power lines while cutting back their own trees.
Residents are urged to call the sub-district at 038-933-100 if they need trees
trimmed.
