The Pattaya Grand Sale is underway for its sixth year and city officials are
hoping the summertime campaign provides a substantive boost to low season
tourism revenues.
Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome, Jaran Anmee, director of Tourism Investment for the
Tourism Authority of Thailand, Sombun Khroptheenont, manager of Visa
International (Thailand), and Sanphet Suphabuansathien, president of Thai Hotels
Association Eastern Region, hailed the start of the campaign June 20 at Central
Festival Pattaya Beach. They said the 2013 “Tour All Day, Discount Entire City”
campaign offers the biggest discounts yet, up to 70 percent off at area hotels,
golf courses and retailers.
The promotion runs through Sept. 30.
Co-sponsored by the Pattaya Business & Tourism Association, Pattaya Restaurant
Club, Chonburi Attractions Club and East Coast Golf Courses Management
Association, the sale applies to more than 70 hotels, 20 spas, 10 shopping
centers, seven golf courses, and 15 tourist attractions.
Tourists simply need to show their Pattaya Grand Sale 2014 card to receive
discounts. The cards can be obtained online at Trip2Pattaya.com, the Tourism
Authority of Thailand’s Pattaya office, Central Festival, participating hotels
and TAT offices and shopping malls in Bangkok.
