Sailors receive their
certificates of completion for successfully learning their new trades.
Join the service and learn a trade. That’s what at
least 100 sailors had in mind when they received vocational training at
Sattahip Naval Base. All 100 graduated from one of five different
courses; electrical and gas welding, motorcycle repair, refrigeration
and air-conditioning maintenance, small engine maintenance and
electrical maintenance.
Admiral Lertlam Sukhchart of Sattahip Naval Base, who presided over the
training for the enlisted sailors, presented certificates at their
graduation ceremony.
The first training workshop was held in 1994.
