HRH Princess Soamsawalee cuts the ribbon to open the cervical cancer
protection exhibition at Central Festival Pattaya Beach.

HRH Princess Soamsawalee opened a charity walk-a-thon
to raise money for cervical cancer research.
The princess was welcomed to Central Festival Pattaya
Beach Aug. 15 by Chonburi Gov. Wichit Chatpaisit and top judicial and
police officials and doctors from several cancer-related associations.
With the push of a button, Her Highness signaled the
start of the walk that saw residents, tourists and students march down
Beach Road, passing out leaflets describing the causes and methods to
help prevent cervical cancer.
Assistant Professor Chaiyot Theerapakawong of the
Thai Gynecological Cancer Society also presented HRH the Princess with
donations to her Children’s Cancer Fund and charity directors presented
plaques to society sponsors in gratitude.
HRH Princess Soamsawalee also cut the ribbon to open
the cervical cancer protection exhibition and visited the show before
taking photographs with organizers and sponsors.
