Police arrested an Italian woman for allegedly
shoplifting 168 baht in tuna and beer from a Jomtien Family Mart.
Amanda Agosti, 46, was taken into custody by police
at the Jomtien Soi 6 convenience store Aug. 15. A bottle of milk and a
cake were found in her handbag next to two cans of beer and two tins of
tuna.
Agosti refused to speak to police, but clerk Supansa
Khamsai, 24, said the Italian had been stuffing small items into her
purse. Supansa stopped her as she tried to flee the store and called
police.
