René Pisters (left), GM of the Thai Garden Resort
and Ingo Raeuber (right), Group GM of the Pinnacle Hotels, Resorts and
Spas flew the Pattaya flag high and prominent during their recent
promotional trip to Munich Germany. Over 900 travel agencies of the REWE
Group attended the function where René and Ingo spent all day passing out
brochures and giving information to the European tour operators. The two
world roving ambassadors of Pattaya reported that the response was very
positive and the agencies were very curious to learn more about Pattaya.
Bangkok, Phuket, Koh Tao and Koh Samui were also strongly represented at the
promotional gathering.
True to tradition, the management and staff of the
Montien Hotel Pattaya held a birthday celebration for Per Krogh, a VIP
guest of the hotel. Friends and family were also invited to the birthday
candles blowing ceremony before taking delight in the delicious cake.
The elegant 4-star Furama Jomtien Beach Hotel was
the venue of the ‘Pajama Pool Swing Party’ held recently. Tatcha Riddhimat
(right), the general manager welcomed Auttaphol Wannakij (left), the vibrant
and energetic director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Pattaya
office to this fun affair.
To help alleviate some of the suffering of the people
affected by the horrendous floods ravaging the central plains and Bangkok,
Pierre Andre Pelletier, GM of the Amari Watergate Bangkok, together
with his management team made a generous donation of essential items
including clothing, pillows, blankets and towels for the flood victims to
Saisom Wongsasuluck, committee member of the Friends In Need of ‘PA’
Volunteers Foundation of the Thai Red Cross Society.

Pattaya, under the watchful eye of Lily Eduardcoce (standing left) the
training manager, pose proudly with their certificates of achievement at the
end of their successful training sessions. Andre Brulhart (standing 5th
left), the general manager, presented his staff with their recognitions,
thanking them for their dedication for excellence in five star services.

As part of the hotel’s Community Service Responsibilities
(CSR) initiatives, Chatchawal Supachayanont (seated 3rd
left), general manager of the Dusit Thani Pattaya, led his management
team and staff on their annual ‘Krathin’ pilgrimage to rural areas in
Thailand to donate cash, school supplies for children including computers
and other necessities for schools and hospitals in the region. This year the
benevolent hoteliers chose the community of Tambol Khoksalut sub-district in
Phitsanulok province to bring their love and care. They were welcomed by
happy villagers who invited them to pay homage in Wat Kamphaengmanee before
thankfully receiving the humanitarian aid.
