René Pisters (left), GM of the Thai Garden Resort and Ingo Raeuber (right), Group GM of the Pinnacle Hotels, Resorts and Spas flew the Pattaya flag high and prominent during their recent promotional trip to Munich Germany. Over 900 travel agencies of the REWE Group attended the function where René and Ingo spent all day passing out brochures and giving information to the European tour operators. The two world roving ambassadors of Pattaya reported that the response was very positive and the agencies were very curious to learn more about Pattaya. Bangkok, Phuket, Koh Tao and Koh Samui were also strongly represented at the promotional gathering.

True to tradition, the management and staff of the Montien Hotel Pattaya held a birthday celebration for Per Krogh, a VIP guest of the hotel. Friends and family were also invited to the birthday candles blowing ceremony before taking delight in the delicious cake.

The elegant 4-star Furama Jomtien Beach Hotel was the venue of the ‘Pajama Pool Swing Party’ held recently. Tatcha Riddhimat (right), the general manager welcomed Auttaphol Wannakij (left), the vibrant and energetic director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Pattaya office to this fun affair.

To help alleviate some of the suffering of the people affected by the horrendous floods ravaging the central plains and Bangkok, Pierre Andre Pelletier, GM of the Amari Watergate Bangkok, together with his management team made a generous donation of essential items including clothing, pillows, blankets and towels for the flood victims to Saisom Wongsasuluck, committee member of the Friends In Need of ‘PA’ Volunteers Foundation of the Thai Red Cross Society.

Employees of the Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya, under the watchful eye of Lily Eduardcoce (standing left) the training manager, pose proudly with their certificates of achievement at the end of their successful training sessions. Andre Brulhart (standing 5th left), the general manager, presented his staff with their recognitions, thanking them for their dedication for excellence in five star services.

As part of the hotel’s Community Service Responsibilities (CSR) initiatives, Chatchawal Supachayanont (seated 3rd left), general manager of the Dusit Thani Pattaya, led his management team and staff on their annual ‘Krathin’ pilgrimage to rural areas in Thailand to donate cash, school supplies for children including computers and other necessities for schools and hospitals in the region. This year the benevolent hoteliers chose the community of Tambol Khoksalut sub-district in Phitsanulok province to bring their love and care. They were welcomed by happy villagers who invited them to pay homage in Wat Kamphaengmanee before thankfully receiving the humanitarian aid.
