Chonburi, Pattaya and Tourist police have launched
joint patrols and checkpoints to bring more security to a city now
playing guardian to thousands of flood evacuees.
Acting Region 2 police chief Lt. Gen. Punya Mamen
initiated 24-hour road checkpoints and dispatched patrols form Walking
Street Nov. 6.
While doing so, top police brass also chatted with
tourists and solicited donations for flood victims.
