Banglamung officially opens complaint center

The new complaint center is located on the 2nd floor of the Banglamung District Office on Sukhumvit Road, just past the Naklua intersection.

Jetsada Homklin
Banglamung District officially has opened its government complaint center aimed at solving problems and better communicating with residents, as per an order from the National Council for Peace and Order.
Establishment of the complaint centers comes after the NCPO ordered local governments to set up facilities to offer information and advice to public, a direct method to file complaints with public agencies, provide one-stop service counters, hear problems or take recommendations from the public.
Covering the greater Pattaya area, the so-called “damrongtham” is located on the 2nd floor of the Banglamung District Office on Sukhumvit Road, just past the Naklua intersection, and is open during normal business hours, 8.30-16.30.
District Chief Sakchai Taengho said Aug. 8 that the complaint center will focus on such issues as drugs, deforestation and public-land encroachment, illegal labor, human trafficking and judicial mediation.
He added that the area’s many entertainment venues will get special focus, particularly on use of drugs on the premises, the age of employees and patrons, and whether the bar puts on lewd shows. He encouraged people who see such things to call the center at 038-221-335.
