A Chonburi man already arrested, tried, convicted and having served out his
light sentences six times for gold-snatching robberies was busted yet again
in South Pattaya.
Police easily captured Sutin Srisook, 20, after he left his motorbike at a
point in the woods near Soi Kophai 10 where he fled on foot following the
alleged robbery of a 50,000-baht gold chain from Manita Rattanadawruang, 40,
July 30.
The suspected thief, who goes by the nickname “Joke” had a laugh at officers
as he was again slapped in irons. He said he’d been arrested already six
times yet was already walking the streets again, so a seventh bust was “no
big deal.”
Sutin even did police a favor, ratting out his alleged partner, Patcharapong
Uam-urb, 23. Police picked him up at a rental room on Soi Buakaow were they
also recovered 10 motorbikes, two of which were being disassembled.
