Public officials and business leaders donated medicine and cash
to two needy Pattaya organizations.
Banglamung District Chief Sakchai Taengho led the delegation of former
MPs, members of the Pattaya Business & Tourism Association and
representatives from the YWCA Bangkok-Pattaya Center to the Anti-Human
Trafficking and Child Abuse Center and Baan Jing Jai Orphanage Sept. 1.
Child-abuse center director, Plesorn Noja, greeted the group, which
purchased medicine for the center and donated scholarships to children
at the Soi Nernplabwan facility.
YWCA Chairwoman Praichit Jetpai handed out more scholarships at Ban Jing
Jai while also arranging medical checkups for 70 children there and 38
at the child-abuse center.
The day also featured a live band, lunch for the kids and a birthday
celebration for one of the YWCA members.
