More than 100 restaurants and hotels showed off their best dishes at the
Amazing Seafood Festival 2014.
Organized by Pattaya, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Thai Hotels Association
Eastern Region and Pattaya Business & Tourism Association, the Aug. 29-31 food
fest was aimed at promoting Pattaya tourism, focusing on the area’s best fish
and shellfish.
Hungry tourists had a chance to choose fresh dishes cooked by professional chefs
at reduced prices and eat the food close to the beach. Guests also enjoyed stage
shows, marching band performances and pop concerts each night.
A hundred “VIP” guests attended a gala seafood dinner prepared by three chefs
employing three different styles. Chumphol Jaengprai prepared his best Thai
dish; Higel Johari cooked up modern-eastern cuisine; and Pjom Thanarak Sutho
mixed up seafood Chinese-fusion style.
