TAT Trat fishing festival
From 23 November to 21 December the Tourism Authority of
Thailand and Trat Province will hold a fishing festival to promote tourism
in the islands. This will also herald the opening of the marine tourism
season and promote Trat province as a tourist destination.
The first part of the festival will be a fishing competition in the Charng
Island group. There will be prizes offered in many fishing categories. A
grand banquet will be held to close the festival on the various islands of
the Charng Island group.
Those interest in participating in the fishing contest may enquire now until
the 20th of December at the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Trat Province.
