Low income housing
Mr. Samphan Sitthibut, Guardian of the Crown Property
for Trat Province, told reporters that the Crown Property Bureau has
given permission for the National Housing Authority to rent Crown
property in 29 provinces. This includes three areas of 4 rai in Tambol
Wang Krajae in the City District of Trat. At this time, the Housing
Authority of Thailand is in the process of designing a rental housing
project on Crown property in Trat. These government apartments will be
rented to civil servants and citizens with low incomes. This is a
non-profit project, and is currently awaiting permission. Once given,
the project should begin no later than early 1997.
