A Finnish man is recovering from a serious knife wound
after being stabbed by his former girlfriend.
Kimmo Liukku, 28, suffered a deep, 12 cm. slash to the
chest around midnight Jan. 16 near a beer bar on Soi Doo Dee in Central
Pattaya. He was treated at Pattaya Memorial Hospital.
Liukku told police he’d been out drinking and bumped into
his former girlfriend. They’d been separated about a year, but had a child
together. An argument broke out and the unidentified woman pulled a knife,
he said.
Police are now searching for the Finn’s angry ex-partner.
