Pattaya-area Muslims will celebrate “Faith of
Lifestream Day” April 2 to raise funds for scholarships and a new
building at Darul Ibadah mosque.

Faruk Wongborisuthi presided over a Feb. 4 planning meeting at the
Central Pattaya mosque. The event is aimed at raising funds to finally
complete a building long under construction at the mosque, as well as
scholarships for Muslim students.
Exhibits and booths planned for the April festival
will cover Darul Ibadah’s history, Muslim food and clothing, a
children’s stage show and a speech from Pakdee Ma-Ae, chief committee
member of the Muslims in Thailand Work Team.
