A Burapha University student was named the Sriracha
Suzuki Football Club’s 2011 “Blue Marine Girl.”
On-Uma Weerakul won 20,000 baht and will be the
team’s leading cheerleader.

On-Uma Weerakul was named the Sriracha Suzuki Football Club’s 2011 “Blue
Marine Girl.”
“I am very happy to be the winner and I didn’t expect
it,” she said after winning the title Feb. 8. “I only hoped to be in the
top ten after. However, I am ready to perform my duties and will follow
the team to cheer them in all of the matches when I don’t have a class,
exam or other obligations. I promise that I will go everywhere that
Sriracha Suzuki FC must compete, and wish for Sriracha fans, Chonburi
inhabitants and people from all provinces in Thailand to attend to cheer
Sriracha Suzuki.”
First runner-up was Theera Thamrattana, also of
Burapha, who won 10,000 baht. Third place went to Isariyaporn Choun-Usap
from Kasetsart University’s Sriracha campus who received 7,000 baht.
“Miss Popularity” went to Prapatsorn Mounsri of Kasetsart who won 3,000
baht.
The rest of the Blue Marine Girls team are Tipaporn
Rungroj, Pitchayachat Ounruan, Natchanon Praesang-Iem, Thitima Aouychai,
Kulpalee Kulniyomkusol, Pitchapat Apisitpaibun and Thirarat Duangdee.
All 11 Blue Marine Girls will sign a one-year contract to represent the
soccer team.
