A fight between a duck and a dog turned deadly when the
owner of the frightened fowl shot dead the canine’s owner.
The body of Suchat Jampanya, 43, was found behind a
garage in Huay Yai July 7. Shot at close range by a shotgun shell, Suchat
was pronounced dead at the scene.
His wife, Chidchanok Jaratmaethanukul, said her husband’s
dog had attached a duck owned by Prasert Rodyoo, the 66-year-old owner of
the Sor Kangchang Garage. Prasert, she claimed, came at her husband with a
shotgun, shooting the motorbike taxi driver to death. She said the gunman
then fled the scene.
Investigators recovered a photo of Prasert from his
garage and are now pursuing him.
Police want to question this man about the shooting of
Suchat Jampanya.
