Peeping Tom busted in Sukhumvit toilet

Purom Uttha signs his name to the guilty charge before being left off with a warning.

Boonlua Chatree

A 28-year-old gas station attendant looking for a cheap thrill instead got a visit from the police after being caught peeping at a female baht bus driver in the restroom.

Jeerawan Saansimma, 26, called police to the Bangjak service station on Sukhumvit Road shortly after midnight Nov. 25 and alleged that attendant Purom Uttha, 28, was a peeping Tom.

The embarrassed pump jockey said he thought Jeerawan was lovely and threw caution to the wind in order to gape at more of her as she took a pee. He said he never imagined that she’d see him looking through a vent connecting the ladies’ room the men’s urinal area.

Police let Purom off with a warning and advised him to find a girlfriend.
