trees to honor HM the King.

City officials and residents planted 999 trees and
bushes in East Pattaya in honor of HM the King’s birthday.
Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome, municipal construction
chief Somphop Wundee and students and teachers from Baan Rodfai School
put in peacock crests, mahogany, and golden shower plants around the
Pattaya Railway Station on Soi Siam Country Club Nov. 25.
Itthiphol said the planting was the fourth of its
kind organized by the city to both honor His Majesty and ward off the
effects of global warming.
