Mayor applauds Rotary
The Rotary Club of Jomtien-Pattaya received kudos from
Pattaya Mayor Pairat Suthithamronsawat for their program to provide
eyeglasses to the Bangla-mung Boy’s Home. There are 21 lads at the home who
needed spectacles. The benevolent club also provided 148 football uni-forms
to the home.
The mayor gave highest praise to all private organi-sations who have been
helping society. He said that many new private organi-sations have been
estab-lished in the past few years. These different organisations are
dedicated to giving the needy concrete help. These various organisations are
able to give help in a quick and efficient manner. The Rotary Club of
Jomtien Pattaya is but one of many who do this. Now the boys at the
Banglamung Home are able to see clearly and work at their studies more
comfortably.
The mayor hopes that the many organisations will continue with their work of
helping others.
