The Tourism Authority of Thailand, together with the
Navy, Pattaya City, the Wind Surfing Association of Thailand and the
Sailing Club of Thailand, have organised the Pattaya Cup Regatta and
Water-sports Festival in honour of His Majesty the King’s Golden
Jubilee.
This special festival to celebrate the beauty and excitement of
Thailand’s favourite beach resort will take place this Sunday, December
22nd 1996, at Jomtien Beach in front of Seaside Plaza.
The montage of activities will include a yacht race around the bay, a
windsurfing competition, fishing, jet-ski’s, banana-boats and a beach
volley-ball game. Afterwards, the famous and cute singing duo,
“Raptors”, will perform live on stage on the beach.
An exquisite collection of His Majesty’s Royal works will be on
ex-hibition throughout the event.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand invites all to attend and enjoy the
sports while joining in the honouring of our Great King.
