About 500 public-health workers from across Thailand met in Pattaya to
bolster morale, ethics and improve their quality of life.
Dr. Sophon Megthon, director of the Public Health Ministry’s Disease
Control Department, opened the Aug. 18-20 seminar at the A-One Royal
Cruise Hotel.
Held annually, the meeting brings together civil servants from across
the kingdom to hear lectures on moral ethics and life quality
development. This year’s lead speaker was Pornthip Rojanasuphan, an
inspector at the Ministry of Justice and director of the Forensics
Institute.
Speakers at the workshop, aimed at both current and retired workers,
also included representatives from the International Anti-Aging Medical
Center.
