Admiral Prasong Songkroh appointed new Sattahip Naval Base Commander
Admiral Prasong Songkroh received the honour of being designated the new
Sattahip naval Base Commander by His Majesty the King, and took up his duty
on October 1st, 1996.
His Majesty the King assigned former commander, Admiral Sunand Pattanawong,
to the position of the Deputy Commander of the Navy for Sattahip.
To honour the two new commanders, a military ceremony was held on October
3rd which included a guard of honour and a delivery of assignments and
orders.
Upon receiving his orders, Admiral Prasong said, “I have been given this
honour and duty by His Majesty the King. I will do my very best and use all
skills that I have to benefit the Navy so that it may benefit the country
and the Thai people.”
