Banglamung District Chief Chaowalit Saeng-Uthai and
area residents presented relief supplies to monks to distribute to Thai
flood victims.
Local citizens turned out in droves to hand out
baskets and bundles of relief supplies to monks from a local temple, out
on morning rounds.
The Nov. 12 merit-making ceremony at Banglamung
District Office was organized to help central Thailand and Bangkok flood
victims who’ve relocated to various relief centers in Chonburi after
supplies began to run low.
The monks accepted donations of drinks, food, and
relief bags.
