More than 60 racing drivers will get fast and furious
at Bali Hai Pier Jan. 14-15 as Pattaya hosts its first car drifting race
and show.
Organized by Oly-On Cooperation Co., the exhibition
will showcase compact cars speeding through precise tracks, “drifting”
through corners as seen in the movie “Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift.”
On Dec. 29, city officials met with organizers to
finalize plans for security, first aid, traffic and parking.
Profit from the event will go toward assisting Thai
flood victims.
