Pattaya police have converted a second-floor room at its Soi 9 headquarters into a central office for investigators.
None monks from Chaimongkol Temple blessed the facility Sept. 30 at a ceremony hosted by police chief, Pol. Col. Supathee Bungkhrong with city council members and the media.
Supathee said the new center will help improve the quality of police investigations.
At the ceremony, he also presented cash awards to six retired police officers.
