Central Festival Pattaya Beach lit the tallest Christmas tree in the
region to welcome the holiday and bid farewell to 2014.
Pattaya City Councilman Rattanachai Sutidechanai, Tourism Authority of Thailand
Pattaya Director Suladda Sarutilavan, Superintendent Pol. Col. Supathee
Bungkhrong and former MPs Santsak and Poramet Ngampichet lit the 25-meter-tall
tree with tourists and other community leaders looking on Nov. 21.
Rattanachai said both the Christmas and New Year’s festivals will bring tourists
to the city and the tree will be a popular destination for photo snapping.
