Navy hosts
scouting jamboree
10,000 scouts from throughout the country are expected to attend the Sea
Scout Jamboree at the Naval Basic Training Centre. Rear Admiral Sunan
Patanawong, Deputy Commander of the Navy, will preside.
The Naval Strategic Operations Department is giving its full support to this
jamboree. The Navy wishes to promote love of country and moral thinking in
Thailand’s youth.
There will be many activities both on land and on the water. The youngsters
will be going on field trips to see the most sophisticated of Thailand’s
Naval weaponry, and Honour their King on His 50th year on the throne.
