Tourist drugging approaches epidemic status
Despite the recent Reuters report of the warning issued by
local police that tourists in the resort are being robbed and killed after being
drugged during sex with prostitutes, incidents of this type of crime is still on
the rise. Prostitutes, both male and female, are drugging punters at such an
alarming rate that the situation is beginning to reach epidemic proportions.

Mr. Stefan Kloss, German national, reported to police on December 1 that
he had been drugged and robbed by a young lass he had met on the pier in
South Pattaya. Kloss identified Ms. Savitri Kanabut, 19, of Sakon
Nakhorn, and her alleged boyfriend Mr. Samak Duangsiri, 23, as the
culprits.
